Certifications

As a proof of the high-quality work we’re conducting, over the years the winery has chosen to follow varied certification protocols, both with reference to the quality and traceability of products and processes, and to environmental sustainability.

  • BRC Global Standard for Food Safety: is an international standard for food safety, acknowledged by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). It applies to the food industry with reference to transformation and preparation, and certifies the product’s quality and safety in terms of hygiene and health.
  • IFS Food 6.1: is an international standard acknowledged by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) for the food industry and certifies food safety and product and process quality.
  • UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certificate: is acknowledged on an international scale and refers to the systems of quality management and to the internal rules and processes that businesses apply to obtain high-quality products. This certification has been active since 2001.
  • UNI EN ISO 22005:2008 certificate: serves to certify on an international scale the traceability of food products. For products with this certificate you can retrace the entire supply chain. This certification has been active since 2015.
  • Certificate of compliance to CE 834/07 and Reg.CE 889/08 for organic wines: obtained by certification agency Suolo e Salute, it certifies the winery’s organic wines.
  • VIVA Sustainable Wine: a certification from the Ministry of the Environment with reference to the environmental sustainability of the wines produced, with particular attention to the sustainability indicators of air, water, vineyard and territory. The winery was among the first in Italy to join the project.
  • PEF – Product Environmental Footprint: a certification introduced by the European Commission that measures the environmental footprint and thus the sustainability of a product throughout its life cycle, from the vineyard through the winery and up to the disposal of the packaging. The winery was the first in Italy to obtain this European certification in 2018.
