Here is how we use your personal details.

When you sign up to our newsletter

We’re currently introducing a newsletter to be sent four times a year with updates and other info on the winery plus recipes and trivia. To manage our newsletter we use MailChimp: your email address is thus stored on their servers and in any back up we might make of that list. The person responsible for the use of these details (data processor) is  Benedetto Grechi, president of the Winery, and we will not pass these to anyone else. We only use it for our communications, from us to you. If you want to cancel from our newsletter, you can do so at any moment: just click on the link at the bottom of one of our newsletters.

When you send us an email or leave a comment on our blog

If you write us an email, or leave a comment on our blog, we will use those details to reply to you. In the case of emails, your details will be stored in our email archive. In the case of our blog, they remained stored on our blog. The processor is Benedetto Grechi. We will not pass your details to anyone else.

When you browse through this website

When you browse through this website, or any other website, in fact, you leave a small trace through cookies. You can choose to navigate anonymously or leave this trace. You can even choose when you want to cancel your cookies (how to do so, depends on the browser you use, for instance for Chrome or Firefox click on the two links). We use these cookies through Google Analytics to understand who reads our website, from where they come from, what they’re looking for and so on. We need it to respond to your needs in the best possible way when you go online in search for Morellino di Scansano. As we use Google Analytics the information is then transmitted to  Google and stored in their servers in the US. With these info, Google analyses and keeps track of how you use our website, and gives us these details (though only in an aggregated way, without any reference to your personal identity) through  Google Analytics reports and other services such as Google Trends.
