Wine, cooperation, best practices… could this be the recipe for success? We will talk about it in two days time,  on Saturday 29th June at 10 am in Scansano‘s Teatro Castagnoli, within a workshop in which some representatives of both cooperatives and wine will participate, together with Florence’s and Verona’s mayors, respectively Matteo Renzi and Flavio Tosi. Our aim is to create a debate between the wine coops in Tuscany and Veneto, two among the most important wine regions in Italy, in order to analyse the recipe for success, collecting some remarkable and varied experiences regarding wine, cooperation and best practices. We hope to find some useful ideas, especially at a time of economic crisis.
“What if it was in fact cooperation, together with best practices and quality wine, the winning recipe? It’s no surprise the two universes to be compared are that of Tuscany and of Veneto, another essential region in the wine and cooperative scene”. Here is the list of speakers who will follow the greetings given by  Leonardo Marras, president of Provincia di Grosseto, Gianni Lamioni, president of CCIAA Grosseto, Sabrina Cavezzini, mayor of Scansano:

  • Flavio Tosi, mayor of Verona
  • Matteo Renzi, mayor of Florence
  • Lucia Galasso, food anthropologist
  • Luigi Turco, president of Cantina Valpantena
  • Gianni Bruno, brand manager of Vinitaly
  • Sergio Bucci, director of Cantina Cooperativa dei Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano.

The conclusions at the end of the workshop will be given by Benedetto Grechi, president of Cantina dei Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano.
